  • What should I do before my appointment?

    • To help us provide you with the best possible cleaning experience, we'll email you some helpful tips a few days before your appointment. In preparation for our arrival, we kindly ask that you:

    1. Move any delicate or easily damaged items to a safe location.
    2. Give your carpets a quick vacuum to pick up pet hair and larger particles of dirt or food.
    3. Ensure the areas we'll be cleaning are free of toys, books, and other items.
    4. Inform us of any specific areas of concern, such as stains or pet accidents.
    5. Move furniture and place dining chairs up on tables or in another area.
    6. Keep the kitchen sink area open so our technicians have access to hot water to fill their machines. 
  • Does EZ Cleaning move furniture?

    • To ensure the safety of your belongings and prevent potential injury to our cleaning professionals (who are skilled in carpet care, not moving), we do not move furniture. We appreciate your understanding on this matter, and ask you to arrange for furniture to be moved prior to your appointment if you desire cleaning underneath. 

    • Fortunately, carpet beneath furniture tends to accumulate less dirt and staining. Our technicians will expertly clean all accessible areas around your furniture.
  • How long will it take for my carpets to dry after cleaning is done?

    • For a thorough clean, EZ Cleaning Solutions utilizes hot water extraction (steam cleaning). To facilitate quicker drying, our equipment features pressurized vacuum suction, and our technicians employ additional extraction strokes with the wand to remove as much excess moisture as possible. 

    • Our typical dry time is between 6 to 12 hours, but this can be affected by the temperature and humidity levels inside your property.
  • Do I have to be at home for my cleaning appointment?

    • While we find it helpful to have you or another responsible adult home during your appointment, it is not required. We do appreciate having an individual present for their appointment to confirm the areas that will be cleaned and discuss any specific needs, options, and address any concerns we may encounter during the service. Rest assured, all EZ Cleaning technicians are employees, not subcontractors, and we are fully insured.

    • Payment is collected after the work is completed. If you won't be home during your appointment, please contact our secretary in advance to arrange for us to have access to the property (keys, key release, codes), provide instructions on how to lock up when we are done, and make payment arrangements.
  • Can I tip my EZ Cleaning technician?

    • Gratuities are neither required nor automatically included in your service cost. However, if you are pleased with the results, the thoroughness of the cleaning, and the professionalism demonstrated by your technician, you are welcome to offer a tip as a token of your appreciation. Any such gratuity would be entirely at your discretion.

    • A tip prompt is available and shown to you on the final invoice.
  • Can I walk on the carpet after it is cleaned?

    • Yes! You can feel free to walk on your newly cleaned carpet as soon as our technician is finished, provided you are comfortable with the cleanliness of your feet or footwear. 

    • While the carpet may be slightly damp to the touch immediately after cleaning, it is safe to walk on. Just be mindful of potential slipperiness when transitioning from carpet to hard surfaces. We recommend allowing the carpets to fully dry before heavy use or replacing furniture to achieve the best long-term results.
  • What is the cancelation policy, and is there a fee if I have to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

    • There is no cancellation fee if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. We fully understand that life can be unpredictable and unexpected changes can alter your schedule. 

    • If you need to reschedule please do not hesitate to call or send us an email, so we can help you select a more suitable time that works best for you. 

    • If you do need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, a percentage of your booking estimate or a flat fee may be charged.
  • Does EZ Cleaning offer other services besides carpet cleaning?

    • Yes, we offer a variety of other core services, which include tile & grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning, area rug cleaning, water extraction & equipment placement, odor removal (ozone treatment), air duct cleaning, and power washing.
  • How much does EZ Cleaning services cost?

    • Our pricing varies depending on the type of service that you request. Please request a quote with us to ensure that you get the most accurate and up-to-date pricing for all your cleaning needs.
  • How long does the carpet cleaning process take?

    • On average it takes 20-40 minutes to clean a room, and for larger areas (1,000 sqft+)  it can take at least an hour to several hours depending on certain variables. 

    • The speed at which we clean can vary based on a multitude of factors. These include the layout of the room(s), square footage of the area(s) being cleaned, accessibility of the area(s) being cleaned, and the quality of your carpet (number of stains, pre-treatments required, etc will add more cleaning time).

    • Properly prepping the area(s) that will be cleaned before your appointment with us allows our technicians to get to work quickly and clean with efficiency.
  • What are EZ Cleaning’s operating hours?

    • Our operating hours are Monday-Friday | 9AM-5PM. We provide 24/7 emergency service for flooding/water extraction needs.
  • What is the cleaning guarantee of all stains coming out of the carpet?

    Stains are evaluated on a case by case basis. While some stains, for example, like bleach will not come out. All stains/ stain patterns are evaluated by our professional technicians that will provide you with their professional opinion with full transparency.
